How comparable is the number of calories burned in our bodies in the contemporary and the ancient times? How difficult is it for us to avoid intake of large quantities of delicious foods containing excessive amounts of energy not required to carry out our day to day routine activities? We travel in relaxed postures on very comfortable seats while reading the best of our books sit on computers for very long hours as well as work in conditioned rooms. These activities prevent us the opportunity to exercise our muscles which are essential for our health. Furthermore, our diet is defined by foods having large quantities of fats and calories which our bodies are unable to burn through our daily movements.
