Muscles are an important factor that burns or consume the majority of our daily caloric intake. Simply, having more muscles means that you burn more than your friend who has less muscle mass. The problem is that our bodies tend to lower the amount of muscles if we eat less than what we burn. The reason behind this is to balance the amount of caloric intake with what we consume so we don’t lose weight. Also, we naturally lose around 1 pound of muscles every year around the age of 20, and around a half pound if we exercise regularly, which is one of the reasons that people find it harder to maintain their weight as they age. However, there are certain exercise and diet plans that can help our bodies to keep the amount of muscles and not use them as energy instead of fat. There are a good amount of training exercises, and diet plans in websites such as FitnessDiet, which can help beginners to understand the type of food, supplements and training programs they need.
